Rev. Dr. Nora Fitch

Nora Fitch has served as Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Odessa, Texas and at First Presbyterian Church in Angleton, Texas. She completed her Doctor of Ministry degree at Austin Seminary in May, 2011. Prior to going to seminary, Rev. Fitch was a Registered Nurse with a M.Ed. from U. of H. and BSN from UT Health Science Center. As a RN, she worked in critical care at Hermann Hospital, as a school nurse in Alief ISD and was assistant manager at the Institute for Preventive Medicine at The Methodist Hospital. Married to Jim Fitch, they have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Rev. Jonathan Britt

Jonathan Britt is from Greenville, SC. In 2013, he moved to Houston where he completed a Chaplain Residency at Memorial Hermann SW Hospital. Earlier that year, he graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary (M. Div.). He interned at Northville United Presbyterian Church in NY and was Youth Director at First Presbyterian Church of Freehold, NJ. He has a B.A. from Furman University in Music and Religion. He lives in the Near Northside with his wife, Allison, and their dog, Wrigley.
Director of Music
Jon M. Miller, a lifelong church musician and a resident of the Houston area since 1979, has continuously served as conductor, teacher and performer in public schools, opera, oratorio, and places of worship. He is a native of Fort Worth, and has earned degrees in music from Texas Christian University (BME) and Southwest Texas State University (MM). Jon is an avid fisherman, and he lives with his wife Angie, and his two children, Savannah and Dylan, in Pearland.
Cathy Chism was born in Birmingham, AL. Her family moved to Bitburg, Germany in 1968 and she was fortunate to visit many countries in Europe. She moved to Houston in 1976. Cathy has worked in many fields including computer, financial planning, oil and gas, environmental and for SBISD. Cathy joined St. Thomas staff in May of 2015. Her daughter, Adrienne Mullen, became a member of St. Thomas in 1995. Cathy has a grown son and two granddaughters in the Austin area.
Dr. Elizabeth Fletcher
Elizabeth Fletcher has enjoyed piano and organ her entire life. She earned her Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of Houston in 1992. She is currently a faculty member in the Bauer College of Business and the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston. She teaches courses in operations management and supply chain; her research interests are focused on the human capital side of supply chain, with a specific focus on emergency management and public health logistics. She also serves as a firefighter with Cypress Creek Volunteer Fire Department. She and her husband, Mark, live in Cypress, Texas with their two Jack Russell terriors, Abigail and Artemis.
