Everyday life becomes extraordinary when lived in the light of the Scriptures.  You can add meaning to your life by exploring God's word with a small group of Christians. 

What DOES a ChristCare group do?  ChristCare small groups are gatherings of five to twelve people that meet regularly to focus on four activities:

• Community building and care - members care for and support one another through the regular ups and downs of every day life.
• Biblical Equipping - members follow an 8-step cycle of hearing, discussing, reflecting upon, and living the Scriptures, not only when they are together as a group, but between group meeting.
• Prayer and Worship - the group worships God and group members grow in their abiltiy to pray with and for one another.
• Missional Service - the group reaches out with Christ's love to meet the needs of people outside the group.   The groups are doing wonderful mission projects in December such as working with the Mission of Yahweh collecting jackets, coats, and sweaters for needy children and women.

ChristCare small group Ministry provides St. Thomas with a highly effective tool to carry out Jesus' Great Commandment to love one another and Great Commission to make disciples.

Sunday Afternoon Group - Meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Katy area.  Leader:  Dennis Cornwell (281-395-2110).
Tuesday Morning Group - Meets 2nd and 4th Tuesays from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.  Leader:  Isabel Jobe (281-497-3064).
