TOM ATKINS - PASTOR - toma@stthomaspc.org(ext. 204) 
Tom is a highly-skilled, enthusiastic pastor with over 30 years of experience in Christ-centered ministry.  His energy and enthusiasm are as infectious as his smile.  He is a dynamic preacher and a knowledgeable teacher.  He has considerable experience in counseling and individual spiritual direction, and inspires with great spiritual insight and joyous humor.  Tom came to faith in Christ as a college student and sensed a calling to ministry while attending a small, dying church in southern Illinois.  He spent 24 years working as a Navy Chaplain where he was challenged and fulfilled.  By the time he retired (as Captain USN) he was in charge of "the largest young adult ministry in the world."  Tom joined the staff at St. Thomas in February, 2009.  Tom and his wife, Alice, have 3 daughters (two of which are career school teachers in England and Germany for children of American military personnel) and six grandchildren.  He enjoys sailing, photography, history, woodworking, travel and Civil Air Patrol.
 

KAY CRONK, DIRECTOR OF CONGREGATIONAL CARE - kaycronk@webtv.net; (ext. 202)
Kay Cronk grew up in Sac City, Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University and Princeton Theological Seminary. She came to St. Thomas in January of 1990.  Kay is married to John and enjoys reading, gardening, classical music and opera.  Her "second home" is Rome, Italy.

CHRISTY GURLEY, DIRECTOR OF FAMILY MINISTRIES - christyg@stthomaspc.org; (ext. 206)
Christy Gurley, Director of Family Ministries, joined the staff as Director of Family Ministries in October, 2008.  She provides Christian education, nurture, and fellowship to our children, youth, and their families at St. Thomas.  Christy has a Master of Arts in Christian Education as well as a Master of Divinity and over seven years experience in Christian Education.  Christy relocated from Charleston, SC to Houston in October, 2008.

WENDY OSTIEN, DIRECTOR OF MUSIC - mostien@comcast.net
Wendy Ostien was born in Panama and has lived in Mississippi, N. Carolina, Virginia, Hawaii, and Michigan.  Her Bachelor of Music degree is from Houghton College (New York) and her MA is in Education from the University of Michigan. She moved to Houston in 1981 and is retired from teaching music at all grade levels for 33 years, the most current position being choral director at Alief Hastings High School.  Although raised a Baptist, she became a Presbyterian and has been directing music at St. Thomas for 15 years.  She has one daughter, a son-in-law, and three grandsons.

JAN SIMMONS - ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER - jans@stthomaspc.org; (ext. 203)
Jan Simmons was born in Flushing, New York, moved to Houston as a child.  She is a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin  with a B.S. in Elementary Education and Secondary Education (Marketing).  She taught marketing at Westchester High School and also worked in the advertising and public relations industry.  She began work at St. Thomas in 1989.  Jan and her husband, Stan, have four grown children.  She enjoys reading, fishing, relaxing at their lakehouse, and traveling to small towns searching for antiques.
